Where did April go?

i have been procrastinating majorly with pictures from Easter. everytime i think about blogging all the updates i need to write, i feel so overwhelmed that i don't blog at all. so instead of trying to catch up on what i've missed, i'm simply going to start from where i am right now. it's less work for me, plus, i think you'll all get over it.
lexi is finally growing- a lot. in less than a month, she has put on almost 2 pounds and about an inch. being formula-fed only definitely agrees with her! she's right at the 5th percentile instead of off the chart completely.
lincoln only has 2 weeks (FOUR DAYS) of school left. i didn't realize how close it was until today. i have NO CLUE what we'll do all summer long....
here are some new pics of my babies:

Lincoln filled his basket THREE TIMES during our Easter egg hunt! we had about 7 fewer children than we had planned, so there were tonnns of eggs.

Lexi's first Easter dress was beeeautiful!

how cute is this picture!? ...we never did figure out how she got that puff on her head!

Lincoln in his spiderman/superhero mask and wrist bands.
We made the mistake of laughing when we first saw him and we were quickly informed that it was cool, NOT funny. if you can't tell, it's masking tape... (a mask with masking tape- there's a novel idea.)

the lastest

here we are with BarlowGirl! ...i forgot to post this pic in my last blog entry, so i wanted to include it in this one.

lexi is still officially tiny. we had to go to the doctor today (she has an ear infection and a cold. she acts like she feels fine, but she has had some nice green snot for several days). she HAS put on 2 lbs (thanks to formula!) and 3/4 inch since february 3rd. BUT, she's still <5% for length and weight. at least she's growing!
God has been talking to lincoln lately. when lincoln goes to bed, God tells him things like, "i love you", "you are safe", and "you didn't lie". ...i don't know what the last one was all about- but hey- if God said it, it must be true!
we went to grouplink at our church this past sunday and met with some people will most likely be our new life group. we all hit it off pretty well and we're supposed to meet for the first time in a little over a week. we're pretty excited about it. between 4 couples, there are eight kids under the age of 7. it will be good for lincoln to have more kids to play with!
my dirty living room floor is begging to be vacuumed so i suppose i should do that before lexi wakes up and wants to crawl all over it.
