Easter, Injuries, Etc.

We have been busy lately! (Ok, I think I say that on every blog post...)
Let's start with Easter:
This is the best picture I got of us that day. The sun was bright and my kids and husband don't exactly love having their picture taken.

Here is my sweet girl checking out Pops and Nana's cows.

I really love her Easter dress!

This picture cracks me up! Lexi did NOT want to sit still to have her photo taken and she CERTAINLY did not want her brother to touch her! But then look at Lincoln- he looks soo happy, like nothing's even wrong. So funny.

Hunting eggs! I didn't get a good picture of my boy hunting eggs because he is an egg hunting MANIAC! That boy means business and RUNS from egg to egg.

Here is my beautiful new accessory for the next two weeks! I have some soft tissue damage around my achilles tendon in my left foot. How it happened is a mystery. I am NOT an athlete, and I don't remember twisting my ankle or falling or anything. Notice how tight the top band is on my skinny little chicken leg? I've got my Daddy's chicken legs! He's 6'6" and has just about the skinniest legs ever. My husband actually calls me "N.E.C."- short for "Non-existent calves". Thanks baby!
Anyway, back to my injury... I will have to wear this boot for two weeks. Hopefully after two weeks, it will be healed and normal. If it's not, I will have to go see an orthopedist and have X-Rays and an MRI. We're praying that it's better with the use of the boot!
In other news, my daughter is insane. I have had to call Poison Control twice in the past week because she likes to eat/drink anything she can get her hands on! She is sly and tricky and FAST. If I slip up and take my eyes off her for even a minute, she's into something. Whew! She certainly is keeping me on my toes!
As I'm typing this, Lexi is standing on one leg and handing tiny pieces of torn-up paper to her Daddy. ...Never a dull moment!
Lincoln got glasses a couple of weeks ago. His vision is technically not that bad, but he has a pretty bad astigmatism in both eyes. He was really upset at first about the fact that he would have to get glasses, but as soon as he put them on his face he changed his mind about them.
