Shame on me!

I have so much to update on my blog. I need to update my header, as my children are both so much different now than they were in those pictures. Also, we've had new family pics taken and I need to put that into there. I also have so many things to blog about. I am seriously behind. That being said, I have not been able to motivate myself to sit down and just do it! I suppose it's a bit overwhelming to look at it as a whole, since it is actually going to be broken down into several different posts. Just one at a time. Maybe I'll eventually get all caught up.
This post has been a long time coming. The first weekend in June, Scott and I took Lincoln to Austin to Star Wars in Concert. My sister Mitsi and her husband Josh met us and went tot he concert with us. Thanks to Nana (my mom) for getting the tickets for early birthday gifts for the boys (who all 3 have birthdays in August)! We had sooo much fun- especially our little Star Wars fanatic Lincoln!

On the trip down, he was so excited to have Mom and Dad to himself for the weekend.

OF COURSE we had to stop at the Capitol. Lincoln absolutely loves this place and Scott had never been before!

Lincoln enjoyed chasing (aka torturing) the squirrels around the Capitol. I just love this picture!

Here he is with the real R2D2 (and the lower half of C3PO)! There were lots of costumes and real items from the movies. Lincoln loved it!
My boy was happy to see Tia and Josh.

The show was so cool!
There was a live orchestra playing, but at times I forgot it wasn't just the soundtrack of the movie playing over a sound system because they were SO GOOD! It was a great show even for non-fanatics like myself and my dear sister. The show was broken down into categories (some by character, others by time periods or relationships) so it was easy to follow the whole story. It covered all 6 of the Star Wars episodes. The man who played C3PO in the movies was the host/narrator for the evening. That was pretty fun too.
More posts to come!
